[PT] Ao longo de três anos, 12 cadernos de desenho são produzidos pelo artista. Durante a residência artística ESPAI, os 12 cadernos são retomados e investigados, de forma a produzir 12 pinturas em grande formato. “Close up“, lida com as intercorrências e atravessamentos vivido por um eu do passado, cuas impressões e memórias são analisadas a partir de uma espécie de “super zoom” deo objetos e lugares.
A série foi apresentada na exposição “O futuro daqui pra trás”, com as artitas Giovanna Almeida Cunha e Lana Ferreira.

[EN] Over the course of three years, 12 sketchbooks were produced by the artist. During the ESPAI artistic residency, the 12 sketchbooks were revisited and investigated in order to produce 12 large-format paintings. “Close up” deals with the events and crossings experienced by a past self, whose impressions and memories are analyzed from a kind of “super zoom” of objects and places.
The series was presented in the exhibition “Rewinding the Future”, with artists Giovanna Almeida Cunha and Lana Ferreira.
